Marisha Robinson

Lake Wenatchee Fire and Rescue - Lieutenant/EMS Officer

Marisha Robinson has served with her local volunteer fire department for over a decade, initially joining in order to apply her medical expertise in a meaningful way. As her family responsibilities evolved, she increased her participation in department activities, training sessions, and emergency responses.

For many years, Marisha was the sole female member of the department—an experience that fueled her commitment to supporting and encouraging more women to pursue roles in fire and EMS. She has since become an active participant in advanced training and professional development opportunities, building connections with women across the emergency services community.

When faced with barriers to advancement and a lack of recognition, Marisha proactively addressed the issue with department leadership. Her efforts led to meaningful changes aimed at ensuring fair and equitable recognition for all members, regardless of gender or age.
