Orange Beach Fire & Rescue - Public Information Officer

With nearly a decade of experience in the fire service, Alissa Jacques has dedicated her career to emergency response, firefighter training and instruction, and public education. She began her career as a Firefighter/AEMT with the Laurens County Fire Department in Dublin, Georgia (2017–2020) before advancing to Orange Beach Fire Rescue in Alabama, where she has served since 2021.

As a Training Officer for Orange Beach Fire Rescue, Alissa played a key role in developing firefighters' skills and operational readiness at both the local and state levels, contributing to the department's status as a Regional Training Center for the Alabama Fire College. Demonstrating her commitment to professional growth, she recently earned her Paramedic certification from Coastal Alabama Community College.

Now serving as the department’s Public Information Officer and Public Education Officer, Alissa is dedicated to community outreach, safety advocacy, and fostering the next generation of firefighters—particularly women in the fire service. Through her leadership and passion, she continues to drive initiatives that strengthen firefighter preparedness and enhance public safety education.
