Golder Ranch Fire District is seeking two (2) Fire Inspectors to join our team!
Based upon your experience and current certifications, you may be considered for one of the following positions:
Fire Inspector Apprentice: Pay Grade: 31 Starting Wage: $19.70/hr
Fire Inspector I: Pay Grade: 33 Starting Wage: $24.14/hr
Fire Inspector II: Pay Grade: 34 Starting Wage: $27.45/hr
All full-time, non-exempt positions. Starting wage is non-negotiable.
Primary Function: The Fire & Life Safety (FLS) Inspector – Apprentice and Fire Inspector I & II are full time positions within the FLS division. The Apprentice position is an entry-level position which participates in an on-the-job training program to learn to independently perform inspection duties. The Apprentice shall work closely with the Deputy Fire Marshal to gain experience and complete the criteria required to progress to Fire Inspector I during their first year of employment.
Applicants with prior work experience in fire inspections and investigations shall be considered for Fire Inspector I & II vacancies within the FLS division. Occasionally employees in the Fire Inspector classification will be required to work evenings or weekends for special events and may be subject to stand-by and on-call scheduling.
